The Slogans Challenge
Advertising can be annoying, but it can also show
how creative marketing and advertising professionals
can be. During the online learning, after analysing
slogans of different brands, the students from 11 th H were
challenged to create slogans in pairs and share them on
a Jam Board, previously provided by the teacher. They
could choose from products like chocolate, smoothies or
even the service of a gym. The students showed
enthusiasm, not only because they could exchange ideas
through their own social media, but also because they
could share their work on a Jam board. In their first
English presential class the students could vote for their
favourite slogan and they did it by accessing a Google
Form named “Slogan Competition”. Can you guess which
one was selected? Well, it seems the students are
convinced to stay in shape, for they voted for: “Don’t lose
patience, lose calories!” The second most voted slogans,
with the same number of votes were: “Any colour, any
flavour, we make it, just taste it!” and “Decide, commit,
succeed!”
You may think: this task was “easy peasy, lemon
squeasy”, but the most amazing thing was the fact that
the students showed their creativity in a matter of
minutes.
How can we compare feelings?
Feelings are as air
They grow when we share
Somebody compared it with prayers
Sometimes they are like nightmares
They are impossible to restrain,
Even stronger than our brain
Are mine bigger than yours?
Nobody sees our sores

The moon was in the sky
And I had her on my mind.

Her arms were like a cradle.
And her skin like cotton.
I felt her lips and they were like the morning breeze, cold and
smooth. It was winter.
Her eyes shone like the sun
And her hair reminded me a new book page, with that smell and
the sensation that no one had ever touched.
Her body was like a guitar and her voice was like sliding strings.
I touched her legs they were perfect
But then ...
I woke up and understood that was just a dream, but not one of the
other dreams
It was a nightmare.

Besides, the teacher was also pleased to see the
students managing the Jam Board so fast.
In conclusion, this was a different task done during
the online learning which promoted: Cooperation,
Creativity, and Information Communication skills in a
fun way!
