Master’s Program in Electronics/Telecommunications 120 credits<br />
The postgraduate program is a two-year program and requires an undergraduate program for admission.<br />
The aim of the program is to give the student<br />
advanced knowledge of Electronics specialized in<br />
Telecommunications.<br />
The Master studies are based on a previously<br />
achieved B. Sc. degree in Electronics, Physics,<br />
Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. An advanced<br />
theoretical program is offered, with assignments<br />
and projects in a modern, well-equipped laboratory.<br />
The high-standard laboratory is the result of a<br />
cooperation between the university and well-known<br />
telecommunication and instrumentation companies.<br />
The program is built up of following courses:<br />
– electromagnetic Fields and Waves<br />
– rF Measurement Technology<br />
– cellular Radio Systems<br />
– Microwave Engineering I<br />
– antenna Engineering<br />
– Stochastic Processes<br />
– Statistical Signal Processing<br />
– Solid-State Electronics<br />
– Modulation and Coding<br />
– Microwave Engineering II<br />
– radio Systems<br />
– advanced Projects<br />
– Master’s Thesis<br />
Start<br />
The programme starts in the autumn <strong>2013</strong>.<br />
After the studies<br />
The program aims to give the student qualifications<br />
for advanced engineering in relevant industry as well<br />
as qualifications for Ph.D. studies.<br />
Degree<br />
Master of Arts/Science (120 Credits)<br />
Prerequisites<br />
Bachelor of Science (BSC) or<br />
Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degrees in<br />
Electronics or equivalent.<br />
Relevant courses in electronics must be included<br />
in the exam (individual evaluation). At least 30<br />
ECTS in Mathematics and one passed course in<br />
signal processing.<br />
Also required is knowledge equivalent to Swedish<br />
upper secondary school course English B<br />
or equivalent to an Internationally recognised<br />
English test.<br />
