Master’s Program in Electronics/Telecommunications 120 credits
The postgraduate program is a two-year program and requires an undergraduate program for admission.
The aim of the program is to give the student
advanced knowledge of Electronics specialized in
Telecommunications.
The Master studies are based on a previously
achieved B. Sc. degree in Electronics, Physics,
Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. An advanced
theoretical program is offered, with assignments
and projects in a modern, well-equipped laboratory.
The high-standard laboratory is the result of a
cooperation between the university and well-known
telecommunication and instrumentation companies.

– rF Measurement Technology
– cellular Radio Systems
– Microwave Engineering I
– antenna Engineering
– Stochastic Processes
– Statistical Signal Processing
– Solid-State Electronics
– Modulation and Coding
– Microwave Engineering II
– radio Systems
– advanced Projects
– Master’s Thesis
Start
The programme starts in the autumn 2013.
After the studies
The program aims to give the student qualifications
for advanced engineering in relevant industry as well
as qualifications for Ph.D. studies.
Degree
Master of Arts/Science (120 Credits)
Prerequisites
Bachelor of Science (BSC) or
Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degrees in
Electronics or equivalent.
Relevant courses in electronics must be included
in the exam (individual evaluation). At least 30
ECTS in Mathematics and one passed course in
signal processing.
Also required is knowledge equivalent to Swedish
upper secondary school course English B
or equivalent to an Internationally recognised
English test.
