At the University of Gothenburg you’ll find one
central library and some smaller libraries. The central
library is the biggest and the other ones are specialized
in a certain field. The small libraries are often
found at any one of the nine faculties. For more

At Chalmers you’ll find three main libraries, two
at Johanneberg and one at Lindholmen. For more

The city library of Gothenburg is also a good source
for information and is situated at Götaplatsen. More
information is found at www.goteborg.se/bibliotek.
Book Shops
The widest range of course literature is found at
Gothenburg Student Bookshop, an independent
praisewhorty book store at Götabergsgatan 17.
Chalmers Student Union have their own highly
appreciated book shop, Cremona. Books are sold
both in the union house at Johanneberg and at a
book café on Lindholmen.
Handels Student Association also have their own
book shop, the high-quality Handelsboden. Here, as
well as at Cremona, you’ll find everything you need
to make easy your studies.
Göta student union and Sahlgrenska academy
Students’ union both have second hand book stores
for their students.
Student life and

Sometimes you might experience any kind
of problem during your studies and in this

help you can get. You’ll also find information
about economy, health and housing.
Studying with disabilities
If you are a student with disabilities you are entitled
to special help. The help is given to you individually
and before you start your studies you are advised to
contact a coordinator for students with disabilities.

Student lawyers
In collaboration with GFS you can receive free legal
advice from the student lawyers. They have a drop-in
reception at Kaserntorget 11 B 6:th floor on Wednesdays
