lojistik imkânlar›m›z› gelifltirerek müflterilerimize genifl ürün<br />

yelpazemizi daha etkin ve verimli flekilde ulaflt›rmay› ve<br />

katma de¤eri yüksek ürünler üreterek Kümelenme (Cluster)<br />

modelini hayata geçirmeyi, bu flekilde PETK‹M'i bir Supersite<br />

yapmay› hedefliyoruz. PETK‹M'in hammadde güvenli¤inin<br />

sa¤lanmas› ve rekabet gücünü art›rmas› için yaflamsal<br />

önemde bir proje olan Hammadde Rafinerisi'nin yap›lmas›<br />

için gerekli süreci bafllatt›k ve en önemli ad›mlardan biri<br />

olan ÇED süreci Aral›k ay› içinde olumlu sonuçland›.<br />

Rafineri-Petrokimya entegrasyonu sinerjisinin gelece¤imizi<br />

tan›mlamada birçok f›rsat› beraberinde getirece¤ine<br />

inan›yoruz. Rafinerinin PETK‹M sahas›nda kurulmas›, liman›,<br />

baraj›, enerji üretimi, depolama ve lojistik altyap›s› olmas›<br />

nedeniyle yat›r›m maliyetinde önemli avantajlar sa¤larken,<br />

PETK‹M'in altyap›s›n› da azami ölçüde de¤erlendirmesine<br />

imkân sa¤layacakt›r.<br />

PETK‹M yar›madas›n› Rafineri-Petrokimya-Enerji-Lojistik<br />

entegrasyonu ve Kümelenme kavram› çerçevesinde<br />

yapaca¤›m›z yat›r›mlarla Avrupa'n›n önde gelen üretim ve<br />

istihdam merkezlerinden biri haline getirmeyi hedefliyoruz.<br />

Kümelenme yaklafl›m› ile PETK‹M sahas›nda yerlileflme,<br />

yan sanayi gelifltirme, insan gücü yetifltirme, üniversitesanayi<br />

iflbirli¤i ve Ar-Ge gibi ça¤dafl rekabetin önemli<br />

unsurlar›n› gerçeklefltirerek, "Value-Site" oluflturma<br />

hedefimize do¤ru ad›m ad›m ilerliyoruz. Bu çerçevede,<br />

fiirketimizi gelece¤e haz›rlamak için genç mühendis ve<br />

teknisyen kufla¤› yetifltirmek için harekete geçtik. Bu<br />

Today, our most important priorities are to achieve refinerypetrochemicals<br />

integration by 2015 and to significantly increase<br />

the capacity of our core operations. Accomplishing these objectives<br />

will allow us to produce products with high added value and<br />

improving our logistics capabilities will make it possible to supply<br />

our customers with products from our broad product range in the<br />

most efficient and productive way possible. To ensure the security<br />

of our raw materials supply and to increase our competitiveness,<br />

it is of critical importance that we carry out our project to build a<br />

raw materials refinery. To that end, we have already begun the<br />

necessary procedures and, as of December <strong>2009</strong>, with the successful<br />

completion of an environmental impact survey, cleared one of the<br />

most important initial hurdles. The construction of the refinery on<br />

the PETK‹M campus, where already we have a port, dam, energy<br />

production, storage and logistical infrastructure, ensures important<br />

cost savings on our investment and also takes maximum advantage<br />

of PETK‹M's infrastructure. By moving to the "cluster" model, we<br />

aim to transform PETK‹M into a "super site" facility. We believe<br />

that the synergies achieved through our refinery-petrochemical<br />

integration will open many opportunities for our future.<br />

With refinery-petrochemicals-energy-logistics integration on the<br />

PETK‹M peninsula, and in accordance with the cluster model, we<br />

aim for our investments to make us one of Europe's leading centers<br />

of production and employment. Step-by-step, we are moving closer<br />

to our goal of creating a "Value Site," again based on the cluster<br />

model, by localizing facilities on PETK‹M grounds, through the<br />

development of subsidiary industries, workforce training, universityindustry<br />

cooperation and research and development. Within this<br />

framework - and in order to prepare our company for the future -<br />
