fiirketimizde son 5 y›l boyunca Genel Müdür olarak görev<br />
yapan Say›n Kenan Yavuz, SOCAR & TURCAS Grubu'na<br />
Üst Yönetici/CEO olarak atand›. Kendisine bugüne kadar<br />
gerçeklefltirdi¤i hizmet ve katk›lardan dolay› teflekkür<br />
ederken, bundan sonraki görevinde baflar›lar diliyoruz.<br />
fiirketimizde önce Mali/Ticari ifllerden, ard›ndan da Yat›r›m<br />
ve Stratejik Planlamadan sorumlu Genel Müdür Yard›mc›s›<br />
olarak görev alm›fl Say›n Hayati Öztürk'e de PETK‹M'in<br />
yeni Genel Müdürü olmas› nedeniyle baflar›lar diliyoruz.<br />
2010 y›l›nda da çal›flma tempomuzu çok yüksek tutmak,<br />
stratejilerimizi gelifltirmek ve uygulamalardan sonuç almak<br />
zorunday›z. Bu yolda en büyük güvencemiz, sektörün en<br />

company and flagship PETK‹M will achieve a very different asset<br />
size and level of productivity. The domestic production of petroleum<br />
products, of which Turkey is a net importer and for which demand<br />
is already in the billions and growing rapidly, will have a positive<br />
effect on the balance of trade in our country and on rebalancing<br />
the Turkish economy from a macroeconomic perspective.<br />
PETK‹M, in coming under the umbrella of SOCAR & TURCAS in<br />
2008, gained the ability to make much quicker decisions and<br />
implement those decisions faster in the intensely competitive<br />
petrochemicals sector. Mr. Kenan Yavuz, who served as our general<br />
manager for five years, was appointed CEO of SOCAR & TURCAS<br />
Group. We would like to thank him for his many services and<br />
contributions to date, and wish him every success in this new<br />
position. At the same time, we also wish the greatest success to<br />
our new General Manager Mr. Hayati Öztürk, who previously served<br />
the company as assistant general manager in charge of finance,<br />
and later as assistant general manager responsible for investments<br />
and strategic planning.<br />
For 2010, we will need to continue working at a demanding pace<br />
and develop our strategies at the same time that we begin to reap<br />
rewards of what we have done so far. On this journey we have now<br />
embarked upon, we place the greatest confidence in the dedication<br />
and contributions of our workers - the sector's best - on the constant<br />
support of our partners and on the powerful synergies we have<br />
created between our suppliers, customers and shareholders. To<br />
conclude our statement, we would like to thank all of our employees,<br />
customers, business partners, shareholders and stakeholders.<br />
