Insurance Cos are also providing Mediclaim Insurance
facilities to the BPL families with the involvement of State
Govt. functionaries and Cattle insurance through Vetinary
Deptt. of State Govt. It was decided to bring on record all
facilities provided by Insurance Cos and State Govt.
functionaries. It was also suggested to the insurance
companies to prepare a consolidate plan and submit to lead
bank office for providing insurance facilities to the rural
masses.
(3) Plan for providing KCCs to non defaulter
farmers and GCC to non defaulter farmers.
Though a movement for providing these facilities are already in the
process however it is decided to publicize in the rural area as per
service area aleready allocated to bank branches by way of having
special camps along with concerned patwaries in the villages.
It was also decided that NABARD and Lead Bank Office shall hold
meetings at block level for awareness in the villages for financial
inclusion by Sarpanches, Panchyat Secretaries and concerned BDOs
shall be involved for the said purpose.
This plan shall be improved as per directions from
SLBC, Haryana, Chandigarh, RBI and Govt. of India from time
to time.
