a) Payament: 90% within 15 days after receipt and inspection of material and 10% after onemonth.D. Financial terms & conditionsa) The earnest money of the tenderers will be forfeited to Sugar Mills accout if they withdrawtheir offer/rates or modify the terms & conditions of the tender during the validity of theiroffer. After acceptance of their offer, if any party does not execute the agreement as perterms & conditions of the order, the party shall be delisted/debarred for future dealings andtheir earnest money/security amount shall be forfeited.b) Parties are requested to exercise their choice to quote special cash discount forpayments within a week of the supply.c) “Supplier shall be entitled to a claim @ 12% p.a. interest if the due payment is delayedbeyond 15 days of the prescribed/agreed time without any prior intimation of validreasons by the Management.d) Price Fall ClauseThe tenderer shall furnish a certificate in their offer that the rates quoted by them are thelowest possible which they have quoted to any of their consumers during the currency of thecontract period. However, if they ever feel constrained to quote lower rates to any of theircustomer during the said period, they undertake to intimate the same immediately to theSugarfed/particular Sugar Mills and allow the same reduction in rates automatically. If theyviolate this undertaking and the Sugarfed/particular Sugar Mills come to know of suchreduction on their own/through their own resources, then the Sugarfed/its Sugar Mills shallbe entitled to recover the double the difference in such rates on the entire quantity purchasealongwith cost and damages from supplier.f) Dispatch Delivery Conditionsi) F.O.R. - Sugar Mills, Mehamii) Packing & Forwarding - Niliii) Delivery period : Within 20 days after receipt of purchase order.g) Taxes & Dutiesi) Rate of VAT/CST : Extra as applicable.ii) Excise duty: Extra as applicable with Modvat.D. General Conditionsi) All the documents to be submitted by the tenderers with their offer should be dulyauthenticated by some responsible authority in case the same are copies of originaldocuments.ii)The tenderer shall furnish a certificate in their offer that the rates quoted by them are thelowest possible which they have quoted to any of their customers during the currency of thecontract period. However, if they ever feel constrained to quote lower rates to any of theircustomer during the said period, they undertake to intimate the same immediately to theparticular sugar mills and allow the same reduction in rates automatically. If they violate thisundertaking and the particular sugar mills comes to know of such reduction on theirown/through their own resources, then the sugar mills shall be entitled to recover, double thedifference in such rates.E. PUNITIVE PROVISIONS/LEGAL CONDITIONS5. The supplier will be responsible for any late irregular and non-supply of the material(s) to themills. In that event the Sugar Mills will arrange the material from the market at the risk &cost of the supplier and the supplier will be responsible for all the losses suffered by the Millson this account.

F. SUBMISSION OF TENDERS6. The tender form shall be in two parts i.e. Technical Bid and Financial Bid. Both bids shall besubmitted in separate covers/envelopes. The proforma for both bids are given in TenderForm-I and Tender Form-II respectively. Sealed tender should reach in this office latest by24.7.2013.7. The MD/Management reserves the rights to accept or reject the tender without assigning anyreason.8. The Technical bids will be opened by a committee constituted for the purpose on 25.7.2013at 10.00 A.M.and Financial bids will be opened before 27.7.2013 at 11.00 A.M. andnegotiation will be held on the same day in the office of the Managing Director, The MehamCoop.
