Ang gobyerno <strong>sa</strong> Pilipinas nipirma <strong>sa</strong> <strong>CEDAW</strong> niadtong July 15,1980 <strong>ug</strong> ni-ratify niini niadtong A<strong>ug</strong>usto 5, 1981.Ang <strong>CEDAW</strong> mao <strong><strong>an</strong>g</strong> ikaduh<strong><strong>an</strong>g</strong> ka<strong>sa</strong>but<strong>an</strong> nga may pinakadagh<strong>an</strong> nga nipirma<strong>ug</strong> mi-ratify nga nasud. Nagsunod kini <strong>sa</strong> kadagh<strong><strong>an</strong>g</strong> ni-ratify <strong>sa</strong> P<strong><strong>an</strong>g</strong>kalibut<strong>an</strong>ongKa<strong>sa</strong>but<strong>an</strong> <strong>sa</strong> Katungod <strong>sa</strong> Kabata<strong>an</strong>. 180 <strong>sa</strong> 191 ka nasud <strong><strong>an</strong>g</strong> nipirma <strong>sa</strong> <strong>CEDAW</strong><strong><strong>an</strong>g</strong> ni-ratify niini.Ang ka<strong>sa</strong>but<strong>an</strong> hingpit nga napatum<strong>an</strong> niadtong Septembre 3, 1985 o 25 katuigniining tuig 2006.
