ON-SITE REGISTRATION AND NAME BADGE
COLLECTION:
On-site registration & Self Service counters will be open on
Sunday 10th April 2016 from 15h00 – 17h00 and then from
Monday to Friday from 07h00 and will remain open during
congress hours. For Self Service counters, please be sure to
bring your printed barcoded email, which you will receive
via email on 4th April.
The registration counters will be located in the registration
foyer area of the CTICC on the entrance level and will be
clearly signposted.
Please note that online registration will be closed from 4th
April at 17:00 and only open again onsite on the 10th April
at 15:00
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SOME FORM OF
IDENTIFICATION TO THE REGISTRATION DESK EG
PASSPORT, ID BOOK, DRIVERS LICENCE
When registering on site as a delegate for the full duration
of the congress an administration fee of R1000.00 per
person will be levied over above the cost of the congress
fee. The same will be applicable for daily registrations but
an administration fee of R250.00 per day will be levied to the
daily registration fee.
Registrars/ Trainees & Profession Allied to Medicine when
registering on site as a delegate for the full duration of the
congress an administration fee of R500.00 per person will be
levied over above the cost of the congress fee. The same will
be applicable for daily registrations but an administration fee
of R125.00 per day will be levied to the daily registration fee.
NAME BADGES:
Your name badge is the official pass and must be worn at
all times to obtain entry to all Congress sessions, teas and
coffees, and social events. Should you have pre-registered
for the social functions or activities on Wednesday afternoon
these will be reflective on your name badges.
If you have registered more than one person for the above
events you will receive coupons for the additional person’s
registered.
The registration counters will be located in the registration
foyer area of the CTICC on the entrance level and will be

All Accompanying Persons can register at the designated
Accompanying Person counters.
Please note if you have indicated that an Accompanying
person is attending, then the Accompanying person will
receive a name badge allowing them access into the
exhibition and congress area at the CTICC.
If NO, and your AP is booked for additional tours, then
the AP will not receive a delegate badge or gift and the
Delegate i.e. yourself will receive all tickets/coupons for
the Accompanying Person/s tours or social activities.
This however will not give AP’s access to the CTICC to
enjoy the congress lunches, teas and coffees as well as full
access to the exhibition halls or any academic sessions.
(This name badge is purely so that we can manage the
security aspect of all delegates & daily visitors.)
The cost to register an Accompanying Person or multiple
Accompanying Persons is R750.00 including VAT per
person for the full week, please note there is no daily rate
for accompanying persons.
Name badges for both Delegates and Accompanying
Persons, will not reflect the Accompanying Persons’ Tours
on your name badges. Vouchers will be given out to you
instead if these tours were pre-booked.
Additional Social Tickets, Wednesday afternoon activities
and Accompanying Persons Tours can be bought from the
Ticket Sales Counters
Important to note for all Delegates you will be given
redemption vouchers to collect from various exhibitor
booths for the following items:
1. Water Bottles: Medi Clinic – Foyer Audi 1
2. Ties: Orthomedics – Booths: 105 & 106
3. Congress Bags with printed abstract books in them:
Karl Storz – Booths: 77 & 78
Delegates will receive water bottles that have been
sponsored by Medi clinic.
