Dr. Yang Mei arrived to our CI in February 2016. She brought with her Taichi and Chinese Folk
Dance expertise. She opened Taichi classes at Exploris Middle School and at NC State.
Dr. Yang performed Chinese Folk Dances
at many local events: multiple Chinese
New Year Events, Triangle Area Dragon
Boat Festival, US-China Summit, NC
State Diversity week and at local schools
in NC. Yang Mei is very professional in
her demonstrations of Chinese culture
and spends a lot of time preparing her
dance performance and curriculum, even
her unique costumes and makeup that
contribute to the full Chinese experience.
Dr. Yang has a welcoming and friendly
personality and is always open to go above
and beyond and help others at our CI and
in the community. She has adjusted well to
her new tasks, created new programs and
greatly represents our CI team.
2016 年 2 月 杨 梅 博 士 开 始 在 北 卡 州 大 孔 子
学 院 工 作 。 她 以 自 己 的 专 业 特 长 为 孔 院 带
来 太 极 和 中 国 传 统 舞 蹈 的 特 色 课 程 。 杨 梅
博 士 在 伊 克 斯 普 洛 里 斯 初 中 和 北 卡 州 大 开
设 太 极 课 , 在 各 类 文 化 活 动 中 表 演 中 国 舞
蹈 , 比 如 : 多 项 新 年 活 动 、 三 角 区 龙 舟
赛 、 中 美 峰 会 、 北 卡 州 大 多 元 文 化 周 以 及
多 个 当 地 学 校 的 活 动 。 杨 梅 博 士 以 非 常 专
业 的 形 象 诠 释 了 中 国 文 化 的 丰 富 与 精 彩 ,
舞 台 无 论 大 小 , 她 总 是 一 丝 不 苟 地 演 出 ,
对 服 装 、 妆 容 的 考 究 甚 至 达 到 了 苛 刻 的 程
度 。 她 的 课 堂 和 演 出 均 赢 得 观 众 的 一 致 喝
彩 ! 杨 梅 博 士 性 格 开 朗 , 待 人 友 好 , 随 时
愿 意 帮 助 同 事 和 朋 友 , 得 到 孔 院 团 队 和 当
地 社 区 的 交 口 称 赞 。 她 能 迅 速 适 应 新 的 工
作 环 境 , 开 发 新 的 项 目 , 很 好 地 展 现 了 孔
子 学 院 的 形 象 。
