FREE DINNER and BLANKETS DRIVE by GNFKS
'The value of life is not in its
duration, but in its 'Donation'. You
are not important because of how
long you live, you are important
because of how effective you live.'
GNFKS (Guru Nanak's Free
Kitchenette Sydney) organised its
April month's two fortnightly FREE
DINNER DRIVES and FREE
BLANKETS DRIVE successfully
on 15th of April (BAISAKHI
CELEBRATIONS) and 29th of
April 2017 (FREE DINNER and
BLANKETS DRIVE) for the
Homeless and street friends of
Sydney at Martin Place. The food
was served not only to the homeless
and needy but every passerby to
spread love and kindness. The
volunteers of GNFKS believe that,
those who make compassion an
essential part of their lives find the
joy of life. Kindness deepens the
spirit and produces rewards that
cannot be completely explained in
words. It is an experience more
powerful than words. To become
acquainted with kindness one must
be prepared to learn new things and
feel new feelings. Kindness is more
than a philosophy of the mind. It
is a philosophy of the spirit.
