Series 9<br />
Shrouded<br />
Series 9 fans have a ring or shroud cast around the blade tips which confines and<br />
directs the airflow. This type of fan may direct the air through or over the motor without<br />
the benefit of a close fitting fan cover. The ring also provides stronger construction,<br />
limiting damage to the blades tip. A support ring could be cast onto the blades of most<br />
fans in this catalog. (See Table B2 on page 7 for the additional charges).<br />
