Series 10<br />
DC/ARMATURE<br />
Series 10 fans are used inside a DC motor opposite the commutator end. Air is<br />
drawn across the armature and blown out of the motor. There is usually a deep<br />
recess for the bearing housing, and the outside of the hub is tapered to fit under the<br />
coil ends. A ring can be cast around the tips of the blades, if desired. (See Table B2<br />
on page 7 for the additional charges to add a support ring).<br />
