and customer service specialists, we wouldn’t be Jenkins.
Our people have—and always will— make all the
difference in the services and solutions we provide.
Their ingenuity, hard work, and hands-on approach to
getting things done is what powers us. And, in turn,
powers our customers.
We have first-and second-generation employees working
side by side at Jenkins, and it’s not unusual to find those
who have “retired” still on our shop floor. We think it’s
important to highlight some of those who make us Jenkins
and share what makes them invaluable to our business.

“I’m a winder at Jenkins and have been for about four
decades now. My expertise is in DC motors, which
has translated to working on-site for a number of
elevator-related projects. I also mentor and train new
winders that come to Jenkins. I’m known to crack a joke
or two. Whether or not they’re funny is another story.”
“My grandfather worked at Jenkins for 40 years. So, I
guess this place is in my blood. I now work on failure
analysis on industrial control circuits, being able to
understand existing circuits and where they need to be
corrected to alleviate a problem. I take those skills to the
field, as Jenkins primary tech for on-site commissioning
and service on Electric Motor Test systems.”
