The Robin
Il pettirosso
EN - The robin (Erithacus rubecula) is a species of bird in
the Muscicapidae family. It is found in North Africa, Europe,
and Asia. Its diet consists mainly of insects, small spiders,
worms, and snails. In addition, it consumes fruits and soft seeds
(for example whitebeam). About 80 percent of the ingested berry
seeds retain their germination capacity. The song of the robin is
extremely variable. In the legend of Christ, the robin comforts Jesus in
special moments and upon his death. It has also played an important role
in the discovery and scientific recognition of the magnetic sense.

IT - Il pettirosso (Erithacus rubecula) è un uccello della famiglia dei pigliamosche (Muscicapidae). È presente in Nord
Africa, Europa e Asia Minore. Si nutre principalmente di insetti, piccoli ragni, vermi e lumache. Inoltre, consuma frutti e
bacche morbide (come il sorbo montano o farinaccio). Circa l’80% dei semi di bacche ingeriti conservano la loro capacità
di germinare. Il canto del pettirosso è estremamente variabile. Alcune leggende narrano che il pettirosso fosse di conforto
a Gesù in vari momenti, anche durante l’agonia della morte. Inoltre, è stato molto importante nella scoperta e nel riconoscimento
scientifico del campo magnetico terrestre.
DE - Das Rotkehlchen (Erithacus rubecula) ist eine Vogelart aus der Familie der Fliegenschnäpper (Muscicapidae). Beheimatet
ist es in Nordafrika, Europa und Kleinasien. Seine Nahrung besteht vor allem aus Insekten, kleinen Spinnen,
Würmern und Schnecken. Ergänzend nimmt es Früchte und weiche Samen zu sich; ein Beispiel ist die Mehlbeere. Dabei
behalten etwa 80 Prozent der aufgenommenen Beerensamen ihre Keimfähigkeit. In den Christuslegenden steht das Rotkehlchen
Jesus in besonderen Momenten und im Sterben tröstend bei. Zudem hat es bei der Entdeckung und wissenschaftlichen
Anerkennung des Magnetsinns eine wichtige Rolle gespielt.

Встречается она в Северной Африке, Европе и Малой Азии. Её рацион, прежде всего, состоит из насекомых,
мелких пауков, червей и улиток. Кроме того, она питается фруктами и мягкими семенами; например, она ест
рябину. Около 80 процентов съеденных семян сохраняют всхожесть. Песни малиновки очень разнообразны. В
легендах о Христе, малиновка утешает Иисуса в особые моменты и перед смертью. Этот вид птиц также сыграл
важную роль в открытии и научном признании магниторецепции.

EN - Sternenberg belongs to the municipality of Bauma in
the Zurich Oberland. The village of Sternenberg is located in
the upper Töss valley, 17 miles (28 km) east of Zurich as the
crow flies. For centuries the scattered settlement had no
common name. On the occasion of the establishment of a
parish in 1706/1707, the council of Zurich gave it the name
“Sternenberg” after the neighboring hill of that name. Sternenberg
belonged until 1798 to the county of Kyburg. During the Helvetic
Republic between 1798 and 1803 it belonged to the district of Fehraltorf,
and afterwards to the district of Uster. The village gained Switzerland-wide
Sternenberg, Switzerland
notoriety as a result of the 2004 comedy movie of the same name. Franz Engi
(played by Mathias Gnädinger) returns to the village of his childhood. To save the village school from closing, he becomes
a pupil again.
IT - Sternenberg appartiene al comune di Bauma nell’Oberland zurighese. Si trova nella parte superiore della val di Töss
a 28 km in linea d’aria a est di Zurigo. Per secoli l’insediamento non ha avuto un nome proprio riconosciuto. In occasione
della fondazione della propria parrocchia nel 1706/1707, il consiglio di Zurigo lo ha battezzato con lo stesso nome della
vicina collina: «Sternenberg». Il comune appartenne fino al 1798 alla contea di Kyburg. All’epoca della Repubblica Elvetica
apparteneva al distretto di Fehraltorf e nel periodo successivo all’Atto di Mediazione al distretto di Uster. Raggiunse la
sua notorietà in tutta la Svizzera grazie all’omonimo film del 2004 di Franz Engi (interpretato da Mathias Gnädinger) che
ritorna al suo paese d’infanzia. Per evitare la chiusura della scuola locale, ritorna lui stesso sui banchi.
DE - Die Ortschaft Sternenberg gehört zur Gemeinde Bauma im Zürcher Oberland und liegt im oberen Tösstal. Sternenberg
befindet sich in 28km Luftlinie östlich von Zürich. Die ausgeprägte Streusiedlung hatte jahrhundertelang keinen
gemeinsamen Namen. Anlässlich der Gründung einer eigenen Kirchgemeinde 1706/1707 gab der Rat von Zürich dieser
den Namen «Sternenberg» – nach der benachbarten gleichnamigen Anhöhe. Sternenberg gehörte bis 1798 zur Grafschaft
Kyburg. Während der Helvetik gehörte es zum Distrikt Fehraltorf und während der Mediationszeit zum Bezirk Uster.
Schweizweite Bekanntheit erlangte die damalige Gemeinde Sternenberg durch die gleichnamige Filmkomödie aus dem
Jahre 2004. Franz Engi (gespielt von Mathias Gnädinger) kehrt in das Dorf seiner Kindheit zurück. Um die Dorfschule
vor der Schliessung zu retten, wird er selbst wieder Schüler.
RUS - Штерненберг – деревня, которая входит в состав общины Баума в Цюрихском Оберланде. Она расположена
в верхней части долины Тёссталь. Это 28 км по прямой линии к востоку от Цюриха. Разбросанный по местности
населённый пункт не имел одного названия на протяжении веков. По случаю создания собственного церковного
прихода в 1706 – 1707 годах совет Цюриха дал ей имя "Штерненберг", по названию соседнего холма. До 1798
года Штерненберг принадлежала графству Кибург. Во времена Гельветической республики дерквня относилась к
округу Феральторф, а во время посредничества - округу Устер. Известность в Швейцарии община «Штерненберг»
получила благодаря одноимённой кинокомедии 2004 года. Франц Энги (в исполнении Матиаса Гнедингера)
возвращается в деревню своего детства. Чтобы спасти сельскую школу от закрытия, он снова становится
учеником.
