Dear Nomads,
Modderfontein Golf Club was the destination for our February game and this time
around it was blue skies and sunshine from start to finish. Although the club has had
over 400mm of rain since the start of the year, it was nothing compared to our game
here 12 months ago, where we were not sure if we would be able to play and when we
did it was water logged to say the least.
The golf course was in immaculate condition, fairways beautifully manicured, the greens
running true and smooth and the rough at 60mm quite simply put, almost unplayable. It
is no surprise that they will be playing hosts to the 2022 Joburg Ladies Open and we
wish them all the best for this event.

To the team at Modderfontein GC Danny Swarts (GM) and Greg De Villiers (Captain)
thank you for allowing us the use of your facilities we look forward to returning in 2023.
To the team travelling to the Zulu Nationals to be held at the beautiful Mount
Edgecombe Golf Estate from 5-11 March travel safely, play well, make friends for life
and bring home the Bert Hunt Trophy.

the 19th of March due to the Nationals tournament.

game. Everyone arrived on time, and there
were absolutely no hitches to the game. What a
pleasure to have everything run so smoothly!
