all the right reasons. The Burj Al Arab Dubai is the most prominent<br />
and luxurious of all Dubai hotels to date. The modern architectural<br />
phenomenon towers over the Persian Gulf, taller than<br />
meets the eye.<br />
Shaped like a billowing ship’s sail, the Burj Al Arab totals 1053<br />
feet and is one of the tallest buildings in the world. The Burj’s<br />
name literally means Arabian Tower and was built on a small<br />
ocean island linking it to the mainland. Many wonder how the<br />
Burj Al Arab Hotel stands so firmly when it looks precariously<br />
built. The pillars attached to the hotel’s foundation actually reach<br />
an incredible 120 feet below the seabed, planting it firmly onto<br />
