Bhopal, dated the 6th of November, 1995
No. B-25/10/95/PWC/IV .--In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution of India, the Governor of Madhya Pradesh hereby make the following further amendment in the
Madhya Pradesh Civil Service (Pension) Rules, 1976 namely :--
AMENDMENT
In the said rules, in rule 30, the following explanations shall be added, namely :--
“ Explanation
(1) For those Government servants who are drawing pay in the revised scale under the Madhya
Pradesh Revision of pay rules, 1990 or pay scales of U. G. C. and All India Council of Technical
Education or All India Service scale, the expression 'emoluments' means basic pay as defined in
rule 9 (21) (a) (i) of the Fundamental Rules, which a Government servant was receiving
immediately before his retirement and will also include dearness pay and personal pay, if any, as
determined by the order of the State Government from time to time.
(2) Bilingual Allowance of stenographers shall be treated as emoluments for calculation of retirement
benefits.’’
2. This amendment shall come into force with effect from 1st January, 1986.
