First Annual Pre Halloween
Fur-Baby Bash Benefiting The
Barky Pines Animal Rescue &
Sanctuary
Laura Souza of G Girl Productions does
it again! She knows how to put on a Charity
Dog Show. The event was held at the
beautiful Abacoa Golf & Country Club in
Jupiter, FL. There were approximately 50
Masters and their dogs dressed in theme
all looking fantastic. A contest was held
for the best costume. This event raised
funds for a worthy cause.
Bethesda Hospital
Foundation – Women of
Grace
The Women of Grace luncheon is to be
held at the Mar-A-Lago on November 10,
2016 as one of the biggest fundraisers of
the year for the Bethesda Hospital Foundation.
About 500 people attend and the
money raised goes to support Bethesda
Hospital’s Center for Women and Children.
The luncheon, which honors six local
women for their incredible contributions
to our community, has raised nearly
$2 million through the years and has
helped the Center create a state-of-the-art
maternity birthing care center, provided
specialists to help with high-risk pregnancies,
and more.
2016 honorees
1. Jessica Kian: from Dreyfoos School of
the Arts student (visual arts major).
2. Valerie Mathieu - Founder of “Caps of
Love”
3. Michelle Suskauer - Prominent, nationally-known
Palm Beach County lawyer.
4. Betti Lidsky - Founder and chairwoman
of “Hope for Vision”
5. Diane Wilde - Founder of “Dress for
Success” of the Palm Beaches.
6. Nancy Dockerty - President of the
Board of Directors for the Delray Public
Library.

View Elementary
On Wednesday September 14th, the
Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach hosted the
Grand Opening of the Reading Oasis at Orchard
View Elementary.
