This project was made possible with the help from several persons and<br />
institutions.<br />
I would like to thank the archeometric-group at the University of South-<br />
ern Denmark – especially prof. Kaare Lund Rasmussen for guidance and<br />
help – and letting me use the equipment. Also thank to Rune Paulsen<br />
who has created and shown me the method for analysing lead in bones.<br />
I whish to thank Odense Bys Museer for allowing me to use their mate-<br />
rial in this project – especially Jørgen A. Jacobsen who helped in finding<br />
the right bones and the information on these, and Mogens Bo Henriksen<br />
for allowing me access to his not yet published works and for help the<br />
times I needed it.<br />
Nationalmuseet and Panuminstituttet has been helpful with allowing me<br />
the use and finding the bone material from ”den halvbrændte” from<br />
Østerhoved.<br />
