Remove rear bumper and impact reducers(impact reducers not needed anymore).3232Insert ball tow bar (3) in mounting, align mounting(1), and tighten with hexagon screw (4).Mounting (1) is not included.Order no. for mounting (1): 903 127 631 001In case mounting (1) is not mounted, stowdismounted ball tow bar safely in the boot sothat it doesn't slide.21 F 39 72 009 M1342.) Slide supports (1) into the left and rightlongitudinal beam and screw on looselyusing the U-profiles (2) and the hexagonscrews M10x30 (3) and washers 10.5x25x3.Note: Before assembly, stick the seals includedonto the inner side of the support (1).2F 39 72 011 M4.) Disassemble bumper cover (1) from bumpersupport (2). Cut out bumper cover (1) andbumper support (2) at the stamped places (3and 4). Re-assemble bumper.413F 39 72 014 M3.)Insert mounting (1) for ball tow bar (3) asshown in the right rear of the boot and looselytighten with hexagon screw (2) and washer tothe longitudinal beam.38

Hold bumper(2) along with cross brace (1) to thevehicle's rear and loosely tighten with theflanged nuts M10 (without washers) and withthe hexagon screws M10x30 / M10x110 andwashers 10.5x25x3. Align trailer hitch.Tighten the screws/nuts in the followingorder:a) Flanged nut / hexagon screwsTrailer hitch / back wallb) Hexagon screw M 10 supports / boot6.) Stick tow load specification nameplate atposition 1.Torque: 55 NmNote: Hexagon screws M10 of the propertyclass 10.9 and nuts M10 of the property class10 are to be used.c) Align bumper (2) and tighten hexagonscrews (3).7.) Stick adhesive label (1) with operatinginstructions to the <strong>und</strong>erside of the bootfloor (2).8.) Clean boot and replace disassembledparts.39
