Our theme is "illusion" in the space of images and music that can be configured
in geometric elements and are broken up by the dance movement so that a third
dimension can be created.
Nowadays everyone has the chance to publish themselves on SNS, therefore it’s
easy to become a kind of artist, however the publication is consumed quickly
and can quickly fade away.
One of our aims is to remove individuality and ego from our piece so that we can
grasp the true inner meaning and touch the audience in a way that will
withstand time.

Der Wald. Symbol für Heimat und Beständigkeit, Ort der Wandertage und
Osterspaziergänge. Ein Eichhörnchen gleitet friedlich von Baum zu Baum...
Damit hat es bald ein Ende. Eine andere Rasse bedroht unsere roten Freunde.
Das amerikanische Grauhörnchen ist größer, potenter und wird die Einheimischen
verdrängen. Das Fremde hält Einzug in unsere Wälder. Krieg im Tierreich. Um die
Invasion der Grauen zu stoppen, rief man andernorts zu ihrem Verzehr auf und
setze Prämien aus auf ihre Schwänze. Aber was kann so ein Tierchen dafür, dass
seine Vorfahren nicht von hier sind? Und überhaupt: Angst vor Veränderung?
Angst vor Überfremdung? Am Ende gar eine Frage der richtigen Fellfarbe?

The The Day Day Before Before is nostalgia. It is a balance between very dry choreography and
highly emotional mood. The research of the piece was based on the language of
gestures and the context that changes the meaning of each action. Working with
expectations and using specific structural choices the piece develops a clear
and very personal expression.
