„Passages of Light - The Memorial Cloud“
Would create a translucent „cloud“ of 10,000 vertical conduits for light that would float
above a floor where every victim‘s name would be engraved in a circle of light. These circles
would be grouped to place victims‘ names in north and south tower areas; another
group of names would form a „Line of Rescuers“ through the north and south groupings.
Openings in each tower’s footprint would go down to „symbolic“ bedrock. 11
