IF I HAD A HAMMER : Workshop
Make group of 2, max. 3 persons.
Take one paper in the categorie ‘Thema’ and another in the categorie ‘Context’.
There are 4 themes :
- Sustainability
- Gender
- Migration
- Privatization
And 4 contexts :
- Gefängnis
- Shopping center
- Berufschule
- Pensionniert Hause
Having a combination of a theme and a context, you will :
1) Create a proposal for a series of interventions in the same frame
2) Pick up three references that are important for the project : books, internet links, other
projects…
3) Choose or create tools you will need for your project
4) Gather all the tools in a kit (think about how you will transport it, use it in the field…)
5) Write a user guide for your kit
By tools and kit, we meant that you need to focus your reflexion on the ‘objects’ you will need for
the project.
On Saturday morning, we are waiting for :
- Description of the project (10 lignes)
- List of your references
- Model of the kit and tools (2D or 3D)
- User guide of the kit
You have a small budget - 20 Francs for each group - to make a model (2D or 3D) of your kit. You
can use any means to give the best idea as possible of your kit: pictures, drawings, modeling,
web interface, film, sound …
On Saturday morning, each group will make a 10 minutes presentation of the result to the rest of
the class.
