PREPARATION<br />
Unpacking the device<br />
Inserting the batteries into the remote control<br />
Remove all packaging materials including the film on the front of the unit.<br />
WARNING!<br />
Do not let children play with the plastic wrapping. There is a risk of<br />
suffocation.<br />
Check package contents<br />
When unpacking, ensure that the following parts are included:<br />
DVD player<br />
SCART cable<br />
Remote control<br />
2 x batteries (AAA/LR03 type, 1.5V)<br />
Instructions and guarantee documents<br />
Two 1.5 V batteries (AAA/LR03 type) are supplied for the remote control.<br />
Open the battery compartment by sliding the panel on the back of the<br />
remote control in the direction of the arrow.<br />
Insert the batteries so that the negative end is placed next to the springs.<br />
Close the battery compartment.<br />
WARNING!<br />
The batteries supplied should not be charged, disassembled,<br />
thrown into a fire or short-circuited.<br />
If swallowed, batteries may endanger life. For this reason keep the<br />
batteries and remote control out of reach of children. If a battery is<br />
swallowed, please obtain immediate medical assistance.<br />
