Coax-System Coax system<br />
Dabei gelten folgende Bedingungen:<br />
● Eingang ist passiv ausgeführt<br />
● Bidi<strong>re</strong>ktional durchlässig im<br />
F<strong>re</strong>quenzbe<strong>re</strong>ich von<br />
4 MHz bis ca. 34 MHz<br />
Die Einspeisung und Verteilung des ASTRO Coax-<br />
Signals in das SAT-TV- Netz kann dann über diesen<br />
Multischalter erfolgen.<br />
Einsatz des ASTRO AMS 508 Multischalters<br />
Einige Multischalter sind mit zusätzlichen Verstärkerstufen<br />
ausgestattet (z.B. ASTRO AMS 508).<br />
Diese eventuell eingebaute Verstärkerstufen arbeiten<br />
nur in Vorwärtsrichtung und müssen vor dem<br />
Einsatz der ASTRO Coax Systeme deaktiviert werden.<br />
Dazu sind entsp<strong>re</strong>chende Regler am Multischalter<br />
vorhanden.<br />
Koexistenz SAT- TV, Coax-System<br />
Vor der Installation der ASTRO Coax-Systeme<br />
ist das eingesetzte Material auf passive Rückkanaltauglichkeit<br />
zu prüfen. Ungeeignete Multischalter<br />
müssen zwingend ausgetauscht<br />
werden.<br />
Die Umgehung von untauglichen Multischaltern<br />
mit Diplexfiltern scheitert im allgemeinen an der<br />
Unterb<strong>re</strong>chung der LNB-Stromversorgung bzw.<br />
der Signalisierung und kann deshalb nicht empfohlen<br />
werden.<br />

Coax signal in the satellite TV network can be<br />
done via this Multiswitch.<br />
Using the ASTRO AMS 508 Multiswitch<br />
Some Multiswitches a<strong>re</strong> equipped with additional<br />
amplifiers (for example ASTRO AMS 508). These<br />
possibly implemented amplifiers only work in forward<br />
di<strong>re</strong>ction and have to be deactivated befo<strong>re</strong><br />
the initial operation of the ASTRO Coax system.<br />
The <strong>re</strong>qui<strong>re</strong>d control elements can be found at the<br />
Multiswitch.<br />
Coexisting satellite TV, Coax System<br />
Befo<strong>re</strong> the installation of the ASTRO Coax<br />
system, all components of the network have to<br />
be tested on the ability of passive <strong>re</strong>turn path<br />
applications. Not suitable Multiswitches have<br />
to be <strong>re</strong>placed.<br />
The bypass of unsuitable Multiswitches with diplex<br />
filter usually fails because of the LNC <strong>re</strong>mote cur<strong>re</strong>nt<br />
and/or signalling and for these <strong>re</strong>asons it is not<br />
<strong>re</strong>commended.<br />
