Mountains of snow, mountains of adventure! An amazing 29 feet of<br />
natural snow blankets the ski area’s impressive alpine bowls nestled<br />
in the majestic limestone cliffs of the Lizard Range in the Rocky<br />
Mountains of British Columbia. This is the fastest growing resort in<br />
Canada, “top ten in North America’, ‘most improved’ and ‘best new lifts’<br />
are just a few of the notable awards this resort has earned. You choose<br />
your level of adventure at Fernie, steep and deep or smooth and gentle,<br />
you will love the incredible variety of terrain.<br />
Fernie’s mountain adventure centre offers a huge variety of day or<br />
evening activities to supplement downhill skiing and riding. Choice<br />
include moonlight snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, dogsledding,<br />
sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, and torchlight runs.<br />
A wide variety of on mountain ski-in / ski-out accommodations are<br />
available in the mountain’s village and as the resort is located only<br />
minutes from the historical mining town of Fernie, there are many<br />
options for dining, shopping and activities.<br />

FERNIE MOUNTAINSIDE LODGE<br />

Conveniently located at the base of the Fernie<br />
Mountain, offering a family friendly atmosphere and<br />
ski in/ski out access. Lodge and family rooms have<br />
a fridge, TV, phone and private bathrooms. On site<br />
facilities include hot tubs, games room, heated ski<br />
lockers, laundry facilities, gift shop and a communal<br />
TV room.<br />
Griz Inn<br />
The Griz Inn is a ski in/ski out property ideally located<br />
at the base of the lifts. Featuring both hotel rooms and<br />
apartment accommodation, all apartments have full<br />
kitchen facilities and private balconies. The Griz Inn<br />
also has two common outdoor hot tubs, indoor pool, ski<br />
storage, free high speed wireless internet, coin operate<br />
laundry facilities, an on-site restaurant and ski rental<br />
and retail shop.<br />
TIMBERLINE VILLAGE<br />

Timberline Village is conveniently located 500 yards from<br />
the base of the mountain. These are a large complex of 1,<br />
2 and 2 + loft bedroom apartments with a short walk to<br />
the lifts or a complimentary guest shuttle. Ski out at the<br />
end of the day to within close proximity to your apartment.<br />
All rooms have cable TV, gas or electric fireplaces, balcony<br />
or walk-out, fully equipped kitchen and some have their<br />
own washer and dryer. Complex facilities include 5<br />
common outdoor hot tubs, ski lockers, laundry facilities<br />
and free shuttle bus to the lifts. Complimentary wi-fi is<br />
available in common areas. During peak times signal<br />
strength in the mountains can be variable.<br />
