General information
Variocut by Lamello® is a hand milling machine which is ideal to cut wood and wood composites up to 20 mm thick.
It is especially well suited for the cutting of expansion gaps on swimming parquet fl oors, shortening doors or cutting
the window glass on glued in window panes if they break.

Functional parts

1 Switch Power switch to turn-on, turn-off the machine
2 Height adjustment Adjustment of the tool position in the vertical
+/-2 mm for gap width 4-8 mm
3 Depth adjustment Adjustment of the cutting depth depending on the
work piece thickness
Application (see A page 12)
1. Adjust the desired gap width by setting the blade height
2. Adjust the thickness of the material by setting the depth adjuster
3. Switch the machine on
4. Perform the desired cut
5. Switch the machine off

Tool change (see B page 12)
1. Unplug the machine
2. Unscrew 4 screws in the base cover and take off base cover
3. Unscrew 4 screws holding the saw blade, exchange the blade and insert the screws again
4. Place the base cover on the machine and insert the screws again
Minispot tool change
1. Unplug the machine
2. Unscrew 4 screws in the base cover
3. Take off base cover and turn the machine
4. Unscrew 4 screws holding the saw blade, remove the blade and the distance ring, insert the Minispot cutter
and insert the screws again
5. Place the base cover on the machine and insert the screws again
6. Unscrew the 4 screws, exchange the frontplate and insert the screws again

Blow out machine frequently
Repairs to the Lamello Variocut machine may only be performed by the manufacturer or licenced repairers.
