Microfine hydrophobic coated Titanium Dioxide. Easily dispersed
in polar emollients and universally applicable in O / W and W / O
emulsions. Provides a synergistic SPF improvement in combination
with organic UV filters. Has a high UV B absorption and a “one-starrating”
for UV A protection. Facilitates excellent water resistance,
contains no alumina and is compatible with Avobenzone (BMDM).
TEGO ® Sun T 805 G is produced under controlled GMP conditions
and has FDA approval.
Low viscous, aqueous dispersion of microfine hydrophobically modified
Titanium Dioxide with high filling degree. Suitable for all types
of sun care products and color cosmetics. Universal formulation possibilities
for O / W emulsions with a broad formulation range from
pH 4 to 8. Preservative-free.
High solid dispersion of microfine hydrophobically modified Titanium
Dioxide in TEGOSOFT ® DEC. Provides a high SPF response and
a „one-star-rating“ UV A protection due to the optimized particle
size. Compatible with Avobenzone (BMDM). Suitable for all kinds
of O / W- and W / O- sun care emulsions over a broad range from
pH 4 to 8.
Micro fine uncoated Zinc Oxide for elegant and mild cosmetic products
with broad spectrum UV absorption. Shows no whitening and is transparent
on skin after rub-in.
Unique micro fine hydrophobically coated Zinc Oxide with broad spectrum
UV absorption. It is based on the uncoated TEGO ® Sun Z 500 and
offers additional benefits to the formulator, due to its strongly hydrophobic
coating. Shows no whitening and is transparent on skin after rub-in.

TEGOLON ® 12-10
Nylon-12
Polyamides that are especially developed for cosmetics. Because of
their fine structure, these powders provide a good skin feel, while
smoothing the skin and reducing shine. Due to the unique precipitation
process TEGOLON ® products have very good resistance to
fats, oils, salt solution, and many other emollients. Both TEGOLON ® -
products are identical in composition and are free of stabilizers.
They differ only in particle size distribution and porosity.
TEGOLON ® 12-10 is recommended for usage in color cosmetics due
to finer particle sizes. TEGOLON ® 12-10 has a mean particle size of
5 micrometer.
