Bisher wurde die Leistungsfähigkeit von
Dunstabzugshauben in der DIN EN 61591
bewertet. Gemessen werden dabei die
Lüfterleistung, die Geruchsreduzierung
und die Fettabscheidung. Über die Ermittlung
des MEK-Wertes (Methyl-Ethyl-Keton-
Anteil in der Raumluft) kann darüber hinaus
die Beseitigung der Kochlasten im Raum
gemessen werden.
Um die Leistungsfähigkeit unterschied -
licher Dunstabzugssysteme objektiv
mitein ander vergleichen zu können,
wurde das Cleanrate-Verfahren entwickelt.
Als Cleanrate bezeichnet man den
Reinheitswert der Luft beim Kochen. Je
höher Geruchspartikel steigen können,
desto verunreinigter ist die Küchenluft.
Herkömmliche Dunstabzugshauben
saugen nur etwa 60 % des Dunstes ab.
BORA erreicht eine getestete Cleanrate
von 100 % direkt in Kopfhöhe – ein Wert,
von dem herkömmliche Dunstabzugs -
hauben nur träumen können. Mit einem
effektiven Abzugssystem von BORA
kochen Sie wie an der frischen Luft.
Up to now, the performance potential of
extractor hoods has been evaluated in
accordance with DIN EN 61591. In the
process, the performance of the fan, the
odour reduction and the grease removal
are measured. Moreover, by determining
the MEK value (methyl ethyl ketone percentage
in the air) the degree of reduction
of the smells and vapours produced during
cooking can be measured. In order to be
able to objectively compare the efficiency
of various vapour extraction systems with
each other, the Cleanrate procedure was
developed.
The Cleanrate is the name given to the
purity level of the air while cooking. The
higher odour particles are allowed to rise,
the more they contaminate the air in the
kitchen. Conventional extractor hoods
only draw off about 60 % of the cooking
vapours. BORA reaches a tested Cleanrate
of 100 % at direct head height – a value
conventional extractor hoods can only
dream about. Thanks to the efficiency of
the BORA extraction system, you’ll think
your cooking out in the open air.
