Zauberhaft zart machen kleine plastische Blüten jede dieser Vasen
zum Unikat. Kunstvoll von Hand modelliert, gleicht keine exakt
der anderen.
Die Formen, die zum Service „Wellenspiel“ mit geschwungenem
Rand und feinem Relief gehören, wurden erst 1996 bei MEISSEN ®
kreiert. Durch ihre ausgewogenen Proportionen gelten sie schon heute
als moderne Klassiker. Mit den für das 18. Jahrhundert typischen,
aufgesetzten Dekorelementen harmonieren sie im wahrsten Sinne des
Wortes auf das Feinste. Ob Röschen, Orchideen oder Lotosblumen,
die Pastellfarben geben ihnen eine frühlingshafte Ausstrahlung. Und
die Malerei, die die Blüten ins Dekor fortsetzt, verleiht den kleinen
Arrangements eine so räumliche Natürlichkeit, dass man ihren feinen
Duft wahrzunehmen meint. Damit machen die Porzellankünstler
MEISSEN ® s allen Blumenliebhabern ein großes Geschenk – außer den
Floristen, denn deren Dekorationen sind hier nicht gefragt.
Tiny moulded flowers of enchanting delicacy make each of these
vases unique. Consummately modelled by hand, no two are alike.
The shapes that go to make up the “Waves” tableware service with
its flowing rims and fine relief-moulding were not created until 1996
at MEISSEN ® . They have already come to be regarded as modern classics,
however, by dint of their harmonious proportions. They blend
in with the applied decoration so typical of the early 18 th century in
literally the finest possible way. Roses, orchids and water-lilies alike
are all lent a radiance befitting spring by the pastel shades in which
they are coloured. And the painting that replicates the flowers in the
pattern instils such a natural sense of space into the tiny arrangements
that they seem to give off a fine fragrance. MEISSEN ® porcelain artists
have thus come up with a major gift for flower enthusiasts – florists
excluded, since their decorations are not sought here.
