The market knows a good concept
right away, and Euro-Leasing
GmbH simply has the right concept. In
just seven years, the company has
succeeded in establishing itself as the
biggest manufacturer of independent
full service providers for fleet park
management in Germany. With
63 employees at its headquarters in
Sittensen, between Hamburg and
Bremen, and 12 branches elsewhere,
Euro-Leasing achieved a turnover of
around 120 million Euros in 2005.
Euro-Leasing is currently renting out
over 1,500 tractors and around 5,500
trailers,with numbers increasing.
Ralf Faust,managing director of Euro-
Leasing GmbH, knows the transport
industry better than almost anyone
else: “Haulage companies need to
keep up their returns in order to survive
in a tough business environment.They
need solid concepts, simple, transparent
solutions and flexibility”.
A phone call takes
care of everything
Euro-Leasing knows what its
customers need. The company
combines individual service
components into a full package which
it provides in cooperation with its
partners,which include professional
companies in the field of tyre
management, vehicle servicing and
financial advice. For an “allround
support” package, all it takes is just
one phone call. Efficiency and
competitiveness result in solid cost
advantages of up to 15 percent.
While standard, inflexible lorry leasing
and financing have been in decline, the
rental business has seen a rapid rise in
Germany. No wonder: it means liquid
asset savings for haulage companies,
and makes them more flexible.
The average rental period for Euro-
Leasing trucks and trailers is currently
28 months. The high flexibility of the
company makes tailor-made solutions
possible, thanks to individual rental
contracts. With its ongoing fleet
renewal,the company sells an average
of 165 second-hand lorries each
month.
International business is also on the
increase. At the end of 2005, Euro-
Leasing transferred 200 KRONE trailers
to DFDS Transport. The Danish
transport giant is now using nearly
500 Euro-Leasing vehicles. The
transfer of the new multi-purpose
trailers in Werlte, with P 400 track
fittings and roll-on, roll-off equipment,
was the first of its kind. DFDS
technicians inspected the vehicles,
before attaching Danish number
plates, so that they could be put into
use immediately, without transportation
costs. Euro-Leasing always
makes sure that they can provide what
their customers really need.
