zeitgenössischen. Jetzt ist ihr eine
Ausstellung im romantischen
Renaissance Kloster Bramante in
Rom gewidmet. Ob Neonschriftzug
von Tracey Emin oder Andy Warhols
Siebdruck von Marilyn Monroe,
jeder interpretiert Liebe anders. Für
die 87-jährige japanische Künstlerin
Yayoi Kusama ist sie ein gelber Kürbis
mit schwarzen Punkten. Rotes Herz
kann schließlich jeder.
LOVE COMES IN in all shapes and
sizes, as this homage to amor at the
romantic Renaissance cloisters at
Bramante in Rome proves. For Tracy
Emin, falling hard is all about neon
lettering, Andy Warhol interprets the
emotion as a screen print of Marilyn
Monroe while, for 87-year-old
Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, love is
pumpkin shaped. If ever an exhibition
stirred up passion, this is it.
STATE OF EMOTION FESTIVAL
Berlin, Deutschland / Berlin, Germany
4.-5. November / 4 - 5 November
WEN LIEBE VERWIRRT, sollte Emotionen
wissenschaftlich angehen. Gefühle
haben sich zwar noch nie gut vermessen
lassen, aber die Wissenschaft macht
große Fortschritte auf dem Gebiet. Auch
künstlich intelligente Maschinen lernen
jetzt, menschliche Gefühle zu verstehen.
Das State Festival bringt unter dem
Motto „The Sentimental Machine“
Forscher, Künstler, Filmemacher,
Hacker und Blogger zusammen. Bei
Workshops, Vorträgen und Installationen
erkunden sie unsere Gefühlswelt.
NEED TO know why love makes our head
spin? Science might have the answer.
The causes of emotions are better
understood than ever. Even machines
with artificial intelligence are learning
to interpret and mimick human feelings.
The State Festival, a science forum, is
bringing together emotion specialists,
artists and bloggers for workshops,
presentations and installations that put
feelings under the microscope.
