Shopping on Board<br />
We accept most debit and credit cards which contain the MasterCard, Visa<br />
and AMEX symbols or credit cards up to a maximum of 250 €. If you pay your<br />
shopping onboard with your <strong>airberlin</strong> Visa Card, you will be credited with valuable<br />
award miles. Cash payments can be made in euro (bank notes of up to<br />
100 € value and coins of 1 € and 2 €), Swiss Francs and U.S. Dollars. All prices<br />
are quoted in euro as the base currency. Change will be given in euros unless<br />
local currency is available. For payments made by credit card/debit card you<br />
will be asked to present your passport or similar or ID. Please make sure that<br />
you receive a receipt for your purchase. We hope you will understand that for<br />
reasons of weight or lack of stowage space some of the items shown on the<br />
catalogue might not be available.<br />
Our flight attendants will advise you regarding<br />
an alternative, if your choice is not available. In<br />
addition we have regular special offers – real<br />
bargains – for you.<br />
Import Regulations<br />
Please read the import regulations for your destination, in particular<br />
relating to tobacco and perfumes.<br />
Transfer Passengers<br />
We would like to draw your attention to the EU-Regulation on hand<br />
baggage. If your flight involves a stopover in Europe / Germany you<br />
are only allowed to take liquids, which are bought in an airport shop<br />
outside the EU, if they are in a special standardized Duty-Free bag.<br />
Complaints<br />
If you are not happy with an item you have purchased onboard, or your<br />
chosen item is unavailable (tobacco, cosmetics and perfume excepted), we<br />

a letter to Air Berlin, Service Center PNG, Nöckersberg 39, D-45257 Essen.<br />
