Tenth edition of <strong>airberlin</strong> and AirEvents’ polar flight<br />
The fi rst ever successful flight over the North Pole took place in May 1926.<br />
Some 91 years later, we’re offering <strong>airberlin</strong> passengers the opportunity to<br />
experience the Arctic landscape from a plane themselves. The airline is<br />
working with AirEvents to offer this special 12-hour flight for the 10th time, this<br />
year on 1 May. The fascinating route will take you over the Arctic to the North<br />
Pole. There will also be a themed entertainment programme and lectures on<br />

routes from Düsseldorf, New York and<br />
Abu Dhabi. For a fee, passengers in<br />
Economy Class can order a threecourse<br />
meal from a top local restaurant,<br />
which the crew then serves during the<br />
flight. Orders can be placed up to 12<br />
hours before departure via ifleat.com or<br />
the ifleat app. <strong>airberlin</strong> also continues<br />
to offer its full-service drinks and hot<br />
