Wirkstoffe und Analysengeräte dürfen nur bestimmungsgemäss
eingesetzt werden. Wirkstoffe
Druckleitung), Kanister, Flaschen usw.

abzusperren! Die Elektrolysezelle des
Enthärters wird deaktiviert.
Die DUOxide 1000 Lösung wird zur besseren
Handhabung in einem Kunststoffkanister mit 4
Liter Wasser verdünnt. Zuerst wird das Wasser
vorgelegt, dann die DUOxide 1000 Lösung
vorsichtig hinzugefügt. Die verdünnte DUOxide
1000 Lösung wird danach mittels geeigneter
Dosierpumpe (z.B. Medo II) während einer
Regeneration (Schritt Solesaugen) über eine
vorbereitete Impfstelle und ein T-Stück in der
Solesaugleitung gleichzeitig mit der Salzsole
eingesaugt und über das Harzbett geleitet. In
der Kanalleitung soll die Chlordioxid-Konzentration
(ClO2) ca. > 10 mg/l betragen.
Die Regeneration wird nach dem Einsaugen
der gesamten Sole und der verdünnten
DUOxide 1000 Lösung unterbrochen, so dass
die Lösung einwirken kann.
Einwirkdauer: mindestens 1 Stunde, besser 2
bis 3 Stunden
Nach der Einwirkzeit wird die Regeneration
weiterlaufen lassen (Ausführung ist je nach
Steuergerät und Enthärtertyp unterschiedlich
und muss individuell gelöst werden).
Bevor der Enthärter in „Normalbetrieb“ geht,
muss folgendes überprüft werden:
1. Das Wasser darf keine gelbliche Färbung
mehr aufweisen
2. Die Geruchprobe darf keinen stechenden
Geruch mehr aufweisen.
3. Die Chlordioxid-Konzentration nach der
DPD-Chlordioxid-Methode (ClO2) soll <
0,4 mg/l sein
Wird eine Gelbfärbung, stechender Geruch
oder eine Chlordioxid-Konzentration ClO2 >
0,4 mg/l festgestellt, muss eine zweite Regeneration
ohne DUOxide 1000 Lösung durchgeführt
werden um das restliche Chlordioxid
aus dem Harzbett zu entfernen.
Achtung! Achtung! Wenn die Dosierpumpe auf Handsteuerung
läuft immer mindestens einen Wasserhahn
geöffnet lassen, da sonst Überdruck
in der Leitung auftritt!
Nachdem die verdünnte DUOxide 1000 Lösung
vollständig ins Rohrleitungssystem eingebracht
wurde, werden alle Wasserhähne
und Auslässe geschlossen, so dass die Lösung
einwirken kann.
Einwirkdauer: mindestens 1 Stunde, besser 2
Der Warmwasser-Boiler muss auch ausgespült
werden!
Die Spülung erfolgt solange bis:
1. Das Wasser an keiner Entnahmestelle gelblich
gefärbt ist.
2. Das Wasser nicht mehr stechend riecht.
3. Die Chlordioxid-Konzentration nach der
Active ingredients and analytical equipment
may only be used for the purpose specified.
Active ingredients and reagents only keep for
limited periods.
The freshly prepared DUOxide 1000 solution
must not be stored but used up in its entirety at
the production site. The DUOxide solution loses
its effectiveness within a few days. Furthermore
the solution must not be transported.
Depending on the thickness of the biofilm, the
application must be repeated several times.
Do not treat any biofilter with DUOxide 1000
solution.
Never pour DUOxide 1000 solution directly into
a brine container or other open containers
Sealable containers such as permeate storage
tanks, for example, can be used for removing
biofilm with DUOxide 1000 solution. However,
caution is called for when opening these tanks.
The clearance space over the liquid may contain
chlorine dioxide fumes. This means that they
must always be well rinsed water or the fumes
must be precipitated with spray. For the sake of
safety a chlorine gas mask must be worn or kept
in readiness at all times and the work must never
be performed by a single person. The working
environment must be well ventilated.
After each operation with DUOxide 1000 solution
the equipment, dosage pump (suction and
pressure hoses), canisters, bottles, etc. must be
well rinsed with water!
Treatment reatment of of w wwater-softeners
w ater-softeners
During treatment of a water-softener with
DUOxide 1000 solution no water may be taken
from the drinking water installation, i.e. the pipe
connection to the water-softening unit must be
shut off! The electrolysis cell of the watersoftener
is deactivated.
For greater convenience the DUOxide 1000
solution is diluted with 4 litres of water in a plastic
canister. First the water is got ready, then the
DUOxide 1000 solution is cautiously added.
Next the diluted DUOxide 1000 solution is sucked
in by means of a suitable dosage pump (e.g.
Medo II) during a regeneration (brine suction
stage) via a prepared seeding point and a Tpiece
in the brine suction pipe at the same time
as the brine and led over the resin bed. The
chlorine dioxide concentration (ClO2) in the
wastewater pipe should be approx. > 10 mg/l.
After all the brine and diluted DUOxide 1000
solution has been sucked in, the regeneration
is interrupted to let the solution take effect.
Time needed to take effect: at least 1 hour,
preferably 2 to 3 hours
After the solution has had time to take effect the
regeneration is resumed (the execution varies
according to the control device and watersoftener
type used and must be solved
individually).
Before the water-softener can go into "normal
operation“ the following points must be checked:
1. The water must no longer have its yellowish
colouring.
2. The odour sample must have lost its pungent
character.
3. The chlorine dioxide concentration according
to the DPD chlorine dioxide method (ClO2)
should be < 0.4 mg/l. 3.
If the yellow colouring, pungent odour or a
chlorine dioxide concentration ClO2 > 0.4 mg/
l is found, a second regeneration must be carried
out without DUOxide 1000 solution so as to
remove the remaining chlorine dioxide from the
resin bed.
informed before the disinfection measure is
taken.
A application of DUOxide 1000 solution is
sufficient for the disinfection of a piping unit in a
one- or max. two-family house. The DUOxide
1000 solution contains approx. 3 g/l chlorine
dioxide. So approx. 300 - 600 litres of water can
be treated with 1 litre of DUOxide 1000 solution
given a final concentration of chlorine dioxide
von 5 - 10 mg/l.
For greater convenience the DUOxide 1000
solution is diluted with 4 litres of water in a plastic
canister. First the water is got ready, then the
DUOxide 1000 solution is cautiously added. The
diluted DUOxide 1000 solution is then introduced
into the unit by means of a suitable dosage pump
(e.g. Medo II) via a 1/4" seeding point in the
multiblock outlet or a pressure gauge connection
(dosage pump setting approx. 5 to 6 l/h, manual
control if no contact water meter is available).
While the dosage pump introduces the diluted
DUOxide 1000 solution into the piping unit, all
water taps (cold and warm water) in the house/
building are successively turned on slightly until
the chlorine dioxide concentration at all sampling
points is ClO2 > 5 mg/l or the water has a slight
yellowish hue. The water taps remain turned on
until the diluted DUOxide 1000 solution in the 5
l feed tank is completely used up.
Attention! Attention! If the dosage pump is being operated
manually, leave at least one water tap on,
otherwise excess pressure may be generated in
the piping system!
After all of the diluted DUOxide 1000 solution
has been introduced into the piping unit, all
water taps and outlets are turned off so that the
solution can take effect.
Time needed to take effect: at least 1 hour,
preferably 2 to 3 hours, ideally 12 hours overnight.
After that all water taps are turned on to medium
flow rate.
N.B.:
N.B.:
The hot-water boiler must also be rinsed out!
The rinsing must continue until:
1. The water at no sampling point has a yellowish
hue.1.
2. The water no longer has a pungent odour.
3. The chlorine dioxide concentration according
to the DPD chlorine dioxide method (ClO2) is
< 0.4 mg/l.
N.B.:
N.B.:
For pipes with thick biofilm accumulation and
bacterial infestation a second or third treatment
may be necessary after approx. 1 week (e.g. in
the case of plastic installation systems or metal
composite pipes)
