HOW TO GET THERE
BY CAR
On the A1 motorway, leave at:
• Valmontone - those coming from the north or heading for the northern Monti Lepini, on the Valmontone-Cori road;
• Cassino - those coming from the south or heading for the Monti Aurunci, on the Cassino-Formia dual carriageway;
• Frosinone - in the centre of the area, for both the Monti Lepini and Monti Ausoni on the SS 156 Monti Lepini road;
• Ceprano - those coming from the north and Pontecorvo - those coming from the south: intermediary exits between Frosinone and Cassino for the area between
the Monti Ausoni and the Monti Aurunci (Campodimele, Lenola, Fondi).
Some roads run almost parallel between the area concerned and the sea with side roads leading to the chosen destination:
• The SS 148 Pontina road - entered via the Main Rome Ring Road, to Terracina and, from here, on the SS 213 Flacca road to the gulf of
Gaeta.
• The SS 7 Appia Way - entered via the Main Rome Ring Road; this runs a few kilometres from the hillside to Terracina from where it
leads to Itri and Formia then, almost parallel to the coast, to Minturno and the border with Campania.
• From the south - you can walk to the foot of the Monti Aurunci, after crossing the bridge over the Garigliano river on the SS
Domiziana road - those coming from Naples.

Auf der Autobahn A1 (Autostrada del Sole) bis zur Ausfahrt von:
• Valmontone, wenn man vom Norden kommt und die nördliche Zone der Monte Lepini,
über die Strasse Valmontone- Cori, erreichen möchte;
• Cassino, wenn man vom Süden kommt, oder für jene, welche die Monti Aurunci,
über die zweispurige Schnellstrasse Vallmontone – Cori, erreichen möchten.
• Frosinone, in der Mitte des Gebietes, wenn man die Monti Lepini und die Monti Ausoni,
über die Fernstrasse SS156 der Monti Lepini, erreichen möchte;
• Ceprano, wenn man vom Norden und von Pontecorvo kommt, wenn man vom Süden kommt:
Ausfahrten zwischen Frosinone und Cassino, um die Zone zwischen den Monti Ausoni und den
Monti Aurunci (Campodimele, Lenola, Fondi), zu erreichen;
Es verlaufen im Gebiet fast parallele Strassen, die das zu erreichende Ziel,
über Querstrassen ermöglichen:
• die SS 148 Pontina, die in Rom von der Ringstrasse (Gran Raccordo Anulare) nach Terracina
eingemündet wird, um dann über die SS. 213 Flacca den Golf von Gaeta zu erreichen;
• die SS 7 Appia, die bei Rom von der Ringstrasse (Gran Raccordo Anulare) eingemündet wird.
Sie verläuft wenige Kilometer von den Hügeln entfernt und führt über Terracina nach Itri und
Formia, dann fast parallel zur Küste, bis nach Minturno und der Grenze nach Kampanien;
• die SS Domiziana wenn man vom Süden, über Neapel, kommt. Nach der Überquerung der
Brücke über dem Gariglianofluss, kommt man zu den Füssen der Monti Aurunci.
BY TRAIN
The main Rome and Naples stations, on the “direct line”, have a regular service (one train per hour) to the area in front of the
Pontine hill via the stations of Cisterna, Latina Scalo, Sezze, Fossanova, Monte San Biagio, Fondi, Formia and Minturno. On some
direct trains from Milan-Bologna-Florence or from Trieste-Venice it is not necessary to change at Rome. The stations are linked to the
towns by coach.
The Latina Scalo railway station has a regular - approximately hourly - bus service to Latina; these buses run between Latina and the towns of
Cori, Rocca Massima, Norma, Bassiano and Sermoneta. Trenitalia call center, Tel. 892021.

Die „Direktstrecke“ Rom – Neapel verbindet das Gebiet der Ebene durch die Bahnhöfe Cisterna, Latina Scalo Sezze Fossa Nova, Monte San Biagio, Fondi, Formia und
Minturno. Bei einigen Zügen aus Mailand-Bologna-Florenz oder Triest- Venedig erüblicht sich der Zugwechsel in Rom.
Die Bahnhöfe sind alle durch Buslinien mit den Ortschaften verbunden
Der Bahnhof Latina Scalo ist mit einem Bus – Service stündlich mit der Stadt verbunden und ist gleichzeitig Haltestelle für die Bus-Linien nach Cori, Rocca Massima,
Norma, Bassiano, Sermoneta.
