Das Tauchermesser „Argonaut“, eines der besten und robustesten Messer,
gibt es auch in einer kleineren Ausführung: Das „Argonaut“. Knauf,
Griff und Klinge werden an einem Stück aus 4 mm dickem Edelstahl
(AISI 420) oder Titan gefertigt, dann schwarz EDP-beschichtet, geschliffen
und lasergraviert. Der Griff wird doppelt mit 5 mm Paracord umwickelt,
die in einer 12,7 cm Handschlaufe abschließt. 2 mm starker, erhitzter
Kydex-Kunststoff wird per Thermoformung um das Messer gelegt,
um die Scheide herzustellen. Sie wird an einer 2" Gurtschlaufe und
mit Befestigungsteilen für das Tarierjacket geliefert.
Die Variante „Spartan“ hat eine Spear-Point-Klinge, die auf einer Seite
über gestanzten Wellenschliff verfügt, mit dem Leinen und Seile durchtrennt
werden können.
Der Griff ist vom Heft an umwickelt, um dem Zeigefinger Platz zu bieten
und einen extra guten Sitz in der Messerscheide zu gewährleisten. Der
Knauf fungiert als spitzes, praktisches Werkzeug und die Löcher im Griff
sind Sechskantschlüssel für Notfallsituationen.

Die Gurtlöcher sind 2,5 cm lang und 0,65 cm breit.

The Argonaut Knife – one of the best and toughest knives – is available
in a smaller version called the Argonaut. The butt, handle, hilt and blade
are all fashioned out of one piece of 4 mm thick 420 Stainless Steel or
titanium. Then coated in black EDP, sharpened and laser etched. The
handle is then wrapped, twice, in 5 mm paracord and tied off with a
12,7 cm leash. 2 mm thick Kydex plastic is then heated and thermoformed
around the knife to make the sheath. The sheath comes attached to a 2"
belt loop and with BC mounting hardware.
The Spartan comes to a spear head point with one side featuring rounded
die cut serrations to prevent snags on rope.
The handles are wrapped from the hilt to provide a spot for the forefinger
and extra grip for the sheath. The butt of the handle features a sharp
tactical tool and the skeleton holes in the handle are hex wrenches for
emergency situations.

titanium with an EDP coating

braking and crushing.

The strap holes are 2,5 cm long and 0,65 cm wide.
