WRAPTURE TM HARNESS SYSTEM
Mit dem Wrapture TM Harness System liegt die Pressluftflasche
eng am Körper des Tauchers und steht vertikal, so dass der
Taucher mit der Flasche am Rücken bequem stehen kann.
Wichtige Elemente des Wrapture TM Harness Systems sind:
• Ein spezielles Backplate
• Position des Flaschenbands
• Ventilband
• Drehbare Schnallen
• LDPE* Support
Durch die Konstruktion eines extrem dünnen Backplates liegt
die Pressluftflasche eng am Körper und verschiebt das Gewicht
zum Schwerpunkt des Tauchers. Durch die Konstruktion des
Backplates ist das Flaschenband weiter unten positioniert und
verlagert das Gewicht auf die Hüften. Die Schultern werden
entlastet. Die Backplate stabilisiert seitlich die Flasche und
verhindert, dass diese hin und her wackelt. Mit dem Ventilband
wird die Flasche oben eng am Körper gehalten und hält diese
damit in vertikaler Position. Das „gefühlte“ Gewicht ist geringer
und der Taucher kann aufrecht stehen und laufen.
Hinweis: Das Ventilband wird nur leicht angezogen, bis die
Flasche vertikal steht. Durch die drehbaren Schnallen können
die Träger sauber unterhalb des Arms des Tauchers geführt
werden und verhindert somit das vertikale Verrutschen des
Jackets beim Tauchen (ride-up). Eine LDPE* Schale liegt um
den Körper des Tauchers und bietet den notwendigen Support.
Zum einen zur Unterstützung der Bleitaschen, zum anderen
sind an der Platte die Träger befestigt sowie das Backplate.
*LDPE – Low Density Polyethylane: Biegsamer und sehr
stabiler Polymix
WRAPTURE TM HARNESS SYSTEM
The Wrapture Harness System provides comfort and stability.
It allows a diver, wearing a cylinder, to stand up straight when
out of the water.
There are several key elements that make up the Wrapture
Harness System.
• A specialized Backplate
• Tank band (location)
• Valve retention strap
• LDPE (low density polyethylene) plastic support
• Swivel shoulder buckles (patented)
The Backplate is very thin to keep cylinder close to the center
of gravity of the diver. It lowers the tank band and places it next
to the waistband to keep primary weight on the hips as opposed
to the shoulders and it laterally stabilizes the cylinder to keep it
from swinging. The Valve Retention Strap pulls top of cylinder
in close which shifts the weight downwards while taking stress
off the shoulders. Thus the cylinder remains perfectly vertical.
Note: Do not tighten all the way, just enough to keep cylinder
vertical. A sheet of LDPE (low density polyethylene) plastic
wraps around the diver´s body for comfort and stability. It works
in conjunction with the shoulder swivel buckles (patented) and
supports the weight pockets. Keeping the back pad pulled
in against the back it prevents ride-up. The swivels shoulder
buckles allow shoulder strap to swivel backwards so that it can
run under the diver’s arm. The strap remains flat against the
body and prevents ride-up of the BC

i3 TECHNOLOGIE
• „Locker aus der Hüfte“ tarieren!
• Mit dem i3 Tariersystem kontrolliert der Taucher das
Abtauchen und Aufsteigen mit einem Hebel.
• Der i3 Controller ist dort angebracht, wo die linke Hand beim
Tauchen tendenziell ihre Position findet. Der Bedienhebel
des i3 ist einfach und schnell lokalisiert, da er nicht am Ende
eines beweglichen Schlauches sitzt, sondern seinen festen
Platz beibehält. Alle Ventile öffnen über den i3 Controller
gleichzeitig.
ORAL INFLATOR
Jedes Jacket mit der i3 Technologie ist zusätzlich mit dem Oral
Inflator ausgestattet. Dieser kann leicht herausgezogen werden,
bietet eine einfache Handhabung und kann leicht wieder
verstaut werden. Die Gummilippe erlaubt einfaches Aufblasen
selbst im kalten Wasser. Der Oral Inflator kann bei Bedarf entfernt
werden, wenn der Anwender zum Beispiel einen Powerline
Inflator montieren möchte.

i3 TECHNOLOGY
• „Easy leveling on the hips!“
• The i3 technology is a single touch control for both inflation
and deflation.
• Tactile lever is easy to locate because the i3 never moves like
a traditional inflator at the end of a floppy hose.
• Intuitive control – lift up to inflate, push down to deflate.
• When the levered is moving down, it opens all of the flat
e-valves at once.
ORAL INFLATOR
All BCs with i3 technology do have an oral inflator in addition.
The inflator is easy to locate and deploy and can be stowed out
of the way. The rubber lip block allows easy inflation even in the
coldest waters. Just push against lips to open valve. Can be
removed to access rinsing port or to add an Powerlin Inflator
(if desired).
