Die Tante der Großmutter von Nadja Bournonville war erfolglose<br />
Spionin im Ersten Weltkrieg. Wieso entscheiden wir uns für etwas,<br />
wohlwissend, dass dies uns in eine aussichtslose Situation führt?<br />
64 Lilly Lulay thematisiert, wie sich Funktionen und Erscheinungsweise 65<br />
der Fotografie durch die Einbindung des Smartphones verändert<br />
haben. Parallel dazu untersucht sie den Umgang mit Fotografie in<br />
unseren Wohnräumen.<br />
Können künstlich erzeugte Bilder noch zu einem echten Erkenntnisgewinn<br />
führen? Ausgangspunkt der Arbeit von Thomas Albdorf ist die<br />
Tatsache, dass sich heutzutage Bilder durch Software und künstliche<br />
Intelligenz ohne real existierendes Original produzieren lassen.<br />
Die Werke sind Ergebnis von recommended, dem Stipendium von<br />
Olympus, Haus der Photographie / Deichtorhallen Hamburg,<br />
Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam und Fotografie Forum Frankfurt.<br />

World War I. Why do we decide to do something, well knowing<br />
that this will lead us into a hopeless situation?<br />
Lilly Lulay addresses the topic of how smartphone integration has<br />
changed photography’s functions and appearance. In parallel, she<br />
examines how photography is dealt with in our living spaces.<br />
Can artificially created images still lead to increased knowledge?<br />
The starting point of Thomas Albdorf’s work is the fact that nowadays<br />
software and artificial intelligence can be employed to produce<br />
images without requiring an existing original.<br />
