Kooperationen erleben und erlernen
The dynamic complexity of the
markets leads to the fact that industrial
enterprises must adjust themselves
at short notice to changes of the
market. These short term changes
can be realized by SMEs fast enough
and economically justifiablely often
only by co-operation with local resident
enterprises.
Entering new co-operation means
however for the employees concerned
handling other customs and a
change of the own behaviour. This
adjustment succeeds if the co-workers
understand why it is important to
behave differently depending upon
co-operation partner. Besides it is
required that they understand and
carry resolutions of the management,
although they often cannot reconstruct
these. If co-operation is to
be supraregional or international, the
requirements continue to increase to
the co-workers.
These described uncertainties
in the changing surrounding field
are the starting point of the project
SPIKO. Here the thesis is represented
that the simulation of situations within
a simulation game represents an
adequate exercise for working within
co-operations.
In the context of the project, a
computer-based simulation game
is developed. It permits in sufficient
way the representation and the understanding
of complex connections
in co-operation scenarios. Basis for
this development are components
of the real business contents in the
form of operational sequences (processes),
realistic incidents and roles.
Thus co-worker receives the possibility
to draw nearer new working environments
while gaming.
Underlying business processes
and requirements of the three industrial
partners of different industries are
the main basic contributions to create
an adequate simulation model.
Particularly by the specific
development of an appropriate
curriculum and by the simulation the
coworkers acquire the very important
“Soft Skills”. These are substantially
more difficult to train, but crucial for
the success of a co-operation.
