SPECIFIC REGULATIONS<br />
Art. 1 – Organisation<br />
<strong>Deutschland</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> is organised by the German<br />
“Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Radsports mbH”<br />
(GFR), Auf der Krautweide 26, 65812 Bad Soden,<br />
a company of Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.)<br />
chaired by M. Claude Rach, the Bund Deutscher<br />
Radfahrer (BDR) and the RCS Adler. The race will be<br />
run according to the regulations of the Union Cycliste<br />
Internationale (UCI) and of the BDR. The race will take<br />
place at 12.00 on August 25 th <strong>2018</strong>.<br />
Art. 2 – Type of event<br />
This race is part of the BDR’s youth development<br />
program. Female riders born in 2002 ranked 1-3 in the<br />
general classification of this series will be included into<br />
the BDR Juniors (road/track) roster. Any additional<br />
roster spots will be decided upon depending on the<br />
roster structure.<br />
The youngest junior racers (born in 2001) are allowed<br />
to enter the races and time trials of this series and<br />
will appear in the results sheets. Participation in track<br />
races is not allowed. Participation is allowed only if<br />
there is no other Bundesliga race running parallel on<br />
the same day. Participation in the German National<br />
Championships is not permitted. These riders do not<br />
score points for the General Classification of the series,<br />
eligible riders ranked behind them will move up in the<br />
rankings and score points accordingly.<br />

Art. 3 – Participation<br />
All female riders born in 2002 and 2003 in possession<br />
of an official UCI license and who fulfill the participation<br />
criteria of the BDR are allowed to race.<br />
Participation forms are to be filled out and sent out by<br />
the organizing club to the BDR according to the BDR’s<br />
sporting regulations. The year of birth as well as the<br />
club of the rider must appear. Years of birth must be<br />
added to the starting list by the organizer. Riders born<br />
in 2002 will wear bibs numbered from 1 to X and riders<br />
born in 2003 will wear bibs numbered X to 200. Juniors<br />
will wear the highest numbers.<br />
The mere fact of entering and/or participating in the<br />
event, implies that each team fully accepts all the<br />
provisions laid out in these specific regulations and<br />
undertakes to respect them.<br />
Art. 4 – Race headquarter/Permanence<br />
The permanence is open on August 25th <strong>2018</strong> between<br />
09.30 and 10.45 at Berufsbildungszentrum TG,<br />
Waldstraße 52, 66663 Merzig.<br />
Team managers shall confirm the starters and collect<br />
the race numbers and accreditations from the race<br />
headquarters during this time window.<br />
The Team Managers’ Meeting, in the presence of the<br />
race Jury, will be held at 11.00 at the permanence.<br />
Art. 5 – Radio-<strong>Tour</strong><br />
Information during the race will be broadcast using the<br />
frequency 151,730 MHz. All vehicles in the race must<br />
be equipped with a receiver.<br />
Art. 6 – Neutral technical support<br />
The neutral technical support service will be provided<br />
by the BDR.<br />
Art. 7 – General Individual Classification<br />
The general individual classification is established by<br />
the order of passage on the finish line.<br />
Art. 8 – Points and mountains classification<br />
3, 2 and 1 points will be awarded to the 3 first riders<br />
at each of the 2 point classifications and mountain<br />
classifications.<br />
A general classification will be established by adding<br />
together these points.<br />
An overall general classification for the series will be<br />
established by awarding 5, 3, 2 and 1 points to the 4<br />
best ranked riders in these classifications during the<br />
race. In the case of a draw between two riders, the one<br />
who scored the most points in the most recent race<br />
shall prevail.<br />
Art. 9 – Most active rider<br />
The most active rider will be determined by combining<br />
the points, mountains and General Individual<br />
Classifications. The 4 best ranked riders from the<br />
points and mountains classification will receive 5, 3, 2<br />
and 1 points for the General Classification. In the case<br />
of a draw between two riders, the one who scored the<br />
most points in the most recent race shall prevail.<br />
Art. 10 – Anti Doping tests<br />
The Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Radsports mbH<br />
(GFR) and each of the participating teams declare in<br />
an absolute obligation to scrupulously respect the<br />
regulations and procedures decreed by the relevant<br />
authorities governing the fight against doping, as well as<br />
the obligation to maintain a strictly irreproachable line<br />
of conduct in this domain. Participating teams hereby<br />
commit to applying the aforementioned regulations<br />
and procedures and shall be entirely responsible for the<br />
strict adherence to these regulations by their riders and<br />
more generally, by all their staff and service providers.<br />
Anti-doping tests are carried out under the authority of<br />
the UCI by designated officials in caravans close to the<br />
finish line.<br />
Art. 11 – Penalties<br />
The UCI’s scale of penalties will apply in all<br />
circumstances.<br />
Art. 12 – Sporting authority<br />
The sporting supremacy for the duration of the race<br />
lies with the Jury-President (appointed by the UCI) and<br />
the named commissioners. This is in strict compliance<br />
with the regulations of the UCI and BDR.<br />
