The company was founded in Nuremberg<br />
by Paul <strong>Leistritz</strong> in <strong>1905</strong>, not far<br />
from the current headquarters of the<br />
<strong>Leistritz</strong> company group.<br />
The first products produced in the<br />
small workshop were steam turbine<br />
blades.<br />
Today, the management teams of all<br />
companies as well as the central<br />
departments operate out of the main<br />
plant of <strong>Leistritz</strong> <strong>AG</strong>.<br />
The production areas of Turbomaschinen<br />
<strong>Technik</strong> GmbH, Pumpen<br />
GmbH and Extrusionstechnik GmbH<br />
are also located in Nuremberg.<br />
The company currently has 1200<br />
employees at this site, as it has<br />
always been able to expand it facilities<br />
here.<br />
