MOTEL ONE ROTTERDAM
Skygarden designed
by Flos
Der schönste Platz
für einen Sundowner
ist zweifellos die
Dachterrasse: Von
hier hat man den
besten Blick auf die
Stadt.
Tolle Aussichten gibt es in
der One Lounge im Dachgeschoss
samt Terrasse.
Transparenz steht für Offenheit:
Vasen, Teelichter,
ja sogar die Beistelltische
(„Pina” von Pulpo) sind
aus Glas gefertigt.
You get great views in
the One Lounge and
terrace on the top floor.
Transparency stands for
openness: the vases, tea
lights and even the side
tables (“Pina” by Pulpo)
are made of glass.
Farbtupfer, wohin das
Auge blickt: Die Front der
Rezeption besteht aus
hochwertigem Terrazzo
mit bunten Partikeln. Die
mundgeblasenen Leuchten
„Vintage Siren“ sind
von Curiousa.
Splashes of colour wherever
you look: the front
of the reception desk
is made of high-quality
terrazzo with colourful
particles. The hand-blown
“Vintage Siren” lights are
from Curiousa.
Gin-Cocktails
lassen sich am besten im „Egg Chair“
von Fritz Hansen oder im
Drehsessel „Paradise Bird“
von Wittmann genießen.
Das Blumenmotiv zieht
sich durch die Bar-Area:
wie der blumige Teppich
„Eden Queen“ des niederländischen
Labels Moooi,
der das florale Flair der berühmten
niederländischen
Blumenmärkte einfängt.
Darüber ziert die Leuchte
„Skygarden“ von Flos den
Barraum. Zu drei Seiten
bieten die raumhohen
Fenster einen Rundumblick
auf die moderne Architektur
des holländischen Manhattan.
Und wer den Blick
lieber an der frischen Luft
schweifen lässt, findet auf
der großzügigen Terrasse
mit Lounge-Möbeln von
Freifrau und dem niederländischen
Label Linteloo
wohl den schönsten Platz
für einen Sundowner.
evokes the hustle and bustle of Rotterdam
market and the city – the light was inspired
by old drawings of vegetables, market displays
and shopping lists from all over the world.
Even though the lobby invites you to linger,
we recommend going a few meters higher.
After all, in the One Lounge with its bar and
breakfast area on the 5th floor you get an
amazing view of the port city’s canals. Here,
you will also find an impressive, colourful
mix of international and local interior design
pieces. Gin cocktails go down a treat in the
“Egg Chair” by Fritz Hansen or the “Paradise
Bird” swivel armchair by Wittmann. The floral
motif runs through the bar area, such as on
the “Eden Queen” floral rug by the Dutch
label Moooi, which captures the floral flair
of the famous Dutch flower markets. The
“Skygarden” lamp by Flos den Barraum hangs
decoratively overhead. On three sides, the
floor-to-ceiling windows offer an all-round
view of the modern architecture of the Dutch
“Manhattan”. And those who prefer to enjoy
the view al fresco will find the most delightful
place for a sundowner on the spacious
terrace with lounge furniture by Freifrau and
the Dutch label Linteloo.
The rooftop terrace
is undoubtedly
the most beautiful
place for a
sundowner: from
here you get the
best view of the city.
