Colour Palette<br />

The <strong>CUTMETALL</strong> colour palette is contemporary and<br />

unique in the market space.<br />

Primary colours are brand focused while secondary colours are<br />

intended to act as accent colours supporting the overall<br />

colour palette.<br />

The center of the palette is black and ruby red.<br />

Black is traditionally seen as a symbol of<br />

professionalism and seriousness and is also used to<br />

elicit feelings of elegance, substance, and power.<br />

Accent colours allow for flexibility within marketing materials with<br />

the ability to utilize as backgrounds, overlays and accent colours.<br />

Accent colours should never be used as a primary colour.<br />

Ruby red is a vibrant and intense shade of red.<br />

It connotes richness, energy, and passion. In descriptive<br />

context, it can be used to add depth and vivid imagery.<br />

The product line colours are exclusive to the knife product lines<br />

and should only be used at 100% for the product line logos.<br />

They can be toned to act as accent colours if needed.<br />

Due to its intensity, it can be very dominant if used on<br />

large areas. Ruby Red should therefore be used<br />

carefully in order not to overwhelm the viewer.<br />

The neutral palette serves to provide opportunity for the colours<br />

to have more vibrancy.<br />
