Cleaning the cassette deck<br />
• In order to ensure the quality of the recording and playback<br />
of cassette deck, clean parts A, B and C.<br />
• Press the / button (26) in order to open the cassette<br />
compartment.<br />
• Press the button (23) and clean the rubber imprint roll C.<br />
• Press the button (27) and clean the magnetic heads A<br />
and the wave B.<br />
• After cleaning press the / button (26).<br />
Note: For the heads you can also use a special cleaning cassette.<br />

Compact Disc<br />
• Wipe off fingerprints and dust thoroughly with a soft cloth. Wipe from the center to the edge (not circular).<br />
• Clean the disc periodically with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.<br />
• Do not write on CDs. Do not put any stickers on it.<br />
• Protect your CDs against dust and scratches. Always keep it, therefore, in its case when not in use.<br />
• Remove the CD from its case by pressing on the middle of the holder and then touching the edges only of<br />
the CD.<br />

Cleaning the housing<br />
• Pull the plug out of the wall outlet before every cleaning.<br />
• Remove dust with a soft dusting cloth.<br />
• Do not use a wet sponge, wax, spray polishes, or abrasives.<br />
• Caution: No water must reach the housing. If so, unplug the power cord and let the device dry thoroughly<br />
before operating it again. Please do not dry the device in an oven or microwave oven.<br />
