Neuer 16-Bit Mikrocontroller der
Tiny-Serie
Der neue H8/36014F aus
der Hitachi H8/300H Tiny-
Serie verbindet die hohe
Verarbeitungsleistung des
16 Bit Tiny-CPU-Cores
H8/300H mit zwei UARTs,
die im asynchronen (UART-)
Modus bis zu 625 KBaud
und im synchronen Modus
bis zu 4 MBit/s erreichen.
Der neue Baustein eignet
sich bestens für
Anwendungen, die zwei
leistungsfähige serielle Kanäle
erfordern (z.B. serielle
Puffer, Gateways und Protokoll-Konverter).
Er arbeitet
mit einer maximalen
Taktfrequenz von 20 MHz
und einer Betriebsspannung
von 3 V bis 5,5 V. Zusätzlich
zu den beiden
UARTs sind reichlich Peripheriefunktionen
verfügbar,
darunter 16 Bit-Timer und
ein 8 Bit-Timer, ein 10 Bit
A/D-Wandler sowie mehrere
Hochstrom-I/O-Pins. Der
Baustein verfügt über einen
Watchdog-Timer mit eigenem
On-Chip-Oszillator,
eine optionale Power-On-
Reset-Funktion und optionale
Unterspannungs-
Erkennung.
Der neue Mikrocontroller ist
in zwei Flash-Versionen
verfügbar, als H8/36014F
mit 32 KByte Flash-Speicher
und als H8/36012F mit
16 KByte Flash-Speicher.
Programmierung und Löschen
des Flash-Speichers
erfordern bei beiden Versionen
nur eine einzige Versorgungsspannung.
Auf diese
Weise können Steuerungs-
Programme und System-
einstelldaten on-board geändert
werden, um kürzere
Systementwicklungszeiten
zu erzielen.
Es gibt den neuen Baustein
als QFP-64E (64 Pins,
10 x 10 mm), als QFP-48F
(48 Pins, 10 x 10 mm) und
als QFP-48B (48 Pins,
7 x 7 mm).
New Tiny series 16-bit microcontroller
doubles serial capacity
Hitachi has announced a
new member of its
H8/300H Tiny series of microcontrollers.
The
H8/36014F combines the
high performance 16 bit
H8/300H Tiny CPU core
with two USARTs, capable
of operating at up to
625 kbaud in asynchronous
(UART) mode, and up to
4 Mbit/s in synchronous
mode. The new device is
ideal for applications where
two high performance serial
channels are required, such
as serial buffers, gateways
and protocol converters.
The H8/36014F operates at
a maximum frequency of
20 MHz using a 3 V to 5.5 V
power supply. In addition to
the two on-chip USARTs, it
offers a wide variety of
on-chip peripherals, including
sophisticated 16 bit
timers as well as an 8 bit
timer, a 10 bit analogue/digital
converter, and a number
of high-current I/O pins.
The component features a
watchdog timer with its
own on-chip oscillator, optional
power-on-reset and
low voltage detection systems.
The new microcontroller is
available in two Flash versions,
the H8/36014F with
32 kbytes of single supply
on-chip Flash, and the
H8/36012F with 16 kbytes
of on-chip Flash. The Flash
memory on both devices
can be programmed and
erased with a single power
supply. This enables onboard
modification of control
programs and system
adjustment data for shorter
system development times.
The new device is available
in a variety of Quad Flat
Pack (QFP) packages:
the 64 pin, 10 mm x 10 mm
QFP-64E; the 48 pin,
10 mm x 10 mm QFP-48F;
and the 48 pin,
7 mm x 7 mm QFP-48B.
