arches of gold midelino sticks. Sheila, Margaret and Chris<br />
completed the rest of the church on the Thursday before<br />
Christmas. I flew to N. Ireland to spend a week in Groomsport<br />
with our son and his family. It was so warm we walked on the<br />
beach and on Boxing Day we climbed up to Scrabo tower, which<br />
is at the head of Strangford Lough. I felt that it moved the<br />
Christmas pudding on a bit!<br />
In June this year our little village church in Calow is 150 years<br />
old!! I hope that some of the Derby branch will come and help<br />
with the Flower Festival that is being planned along with a choir<br />
concert and a band concert. The local school children will also<br />
be involved. All the best for <strong>2017</strong>.<br />
