Caring Company Award
Hongkong International Terminals
(HIT) has, for the second
consecutive year, won the
“Caring Company Award” that was
presented by The Hong Kong Council
of Social Service (HKCSS). The Caring
Company Award scheme recognises
companies that fulfill at least two criteria
among the following: volunteerism, being
family friendly, employing vulnerable
segments, partnering with the social
service sector, mentoring of social
organisations and giving to the
community. This latest win establishes
HIT’s ongoing efforts as a good

Tsunami Relief
Last Christmas should be a joy for all, but there was much heartache in
Asia as a result of the Asia earthquake and tsunami. To help ease the
sufferings and re-build the homelands for those affected, Hutchison
Whampoa Limited (HWL) and Li Ka Shing Foundation have generously donated
a total of HK$24 million specifically to this cause.
