One bite and you will appreciate the complex symphony
of tastes. They range from the rich flavour of coconut to
curry spices and mustard, all enveloping meat that’s been
grilled to sublime tenderness. The set comes with Potato
Bonda (spiced potato balls dipped in gram flour batter
and deep-fried ), bite-sizes of cheese marinated Tikka,
Jeera rice, dhal, condiments, lemon pickle and papadum.

Since the 1940s, this Singapore-born dish has been a
firm favourite of both the young and the old. It is hard
not to grow fond of this wild riotous mix of flavours. The
vegetables, prawns, tofu, potatoes, eggs, fish cakes, chicken
sausage and coconut flour dough are painstakingly cut,
boiled, steamed, fried, then mixed with sliced cucumbers,
onions and green chili. The grand finale is to dip all these
into a fabulous bowl of spicy sweet potato sauce.
